Step One: Open the template file - Example: sampletemplate.rtf
If you try to open your file and do not see it, your text editor may default to .txt files. To find your template file simply click the down arrow 
next to the File Type in the Open window, select "Rich Text Format (*.rtf)" and you will see your template file.
